If your child is not attending school and you need support in home education, I can help.
By creating a bespoke plan, even if I don’t deliver the work via our online class, I can help you navigate all the resources out there and give regular direction to help you. Choosing the right resources can be a full-time task in itself! There are so many to choose from and it can be expensive. I can oversee learning and give you links to free resource platforms, offer progress assessments at set intervals, mark work and give encouraging feedback with pointers for next steps.
I can also help you source the right activities for your child to help expand their world if it has shrunk inwards.
Every child with a NEST place has their own learning in our online Google Classroom, set at their level and built around the things they love, from primary to GCSE. There are short video lessons, work to print or do online, and a choice of activities, so your child can learn at their own pace and in their own way.
I am online each day to support your child, and I offer bespoke 1:1 tutoring too. I mark work in a positive and encouraging way, with gentle pointers for next steps.
Together Days happen each week, in term time and the holidays. They are small, in-person social groups where we do fun activities around a learning theme in a calm, supported space. They are a chance to create, explore and make friends, with plenty of laughter along the way.
Parents are the experts in their own children. Sometimes it can feel lonely and sometimes you don’t feel listened to. I am here for you.
Support for Parents:
Working together with you to help you to effectively navigate the Additional Learning Needs system in Wales and offering as much support as I can personally, but also in directing you to the right support that’s out there.
